Back in 1985, my mum and dad opened the doors to what would become not just a salon, but a cornerstone of our local community. Today marks a huge milestone—40 incredible years of Q Cut. Growing up, I watched my dad cut hair behind the chair with such skill and dedication. That passion and determination inspired me deeply, and without it, I wouldn’t be where I am today. Q Cut has been a true success story—thriving in the same location for four decades with my Grandad laying the floor to make sure we could open in time, serving generations of clients, and creating a family that extends far beyond its walls. I want to give a special thank you to Alicia, who now leads and manages and runs the salon alongside myself with excellence and care. Tonight, we open our doors to clients, customers, friends, colleagues and former colleagues to celebrate everything this place has meant to us. The salon lives on—and so does Hair.
