@sheetal_archery champion 💙 . For @vogueindia’s November-December issue when @sadaf_shaikh called to photograph India’s youngest Paralympic medallist and her mother, Shakti, I was convinced we needed to shoot this in Kashmir where their home is. Needless to say, it’s one of the most special stories we worked on. . Big thanks to @theotherrumii for coming onboard to make this happen and @annesha555 for writing the piece. 🫶🏼

Right before the cover shot we found a last-minute window to wrap the video property in “10 minutes” flat. As I briefed Dimple Ji in my pass-the-butter voice, she casually whispered that her memory is so bad she could barely remember events from yesterday! Let alone walk us through almost her entire life in looks — still truly invested to make it work though. Funnily enough, we ended up rolling for over 20 minutes. Chatting about her life through her looks and the endearing stories that shaped her iconic style.
