For October issue of @elle_russia I had a chance to photograph my homeland. Republic of Kalmykia 🤍 I recently mentioned that I felt disconnected from my home and had to come back there a few times to really look at everything that surrounded me my whole childhood and find it all fascinating and exciting. Every time I’m there I can’t stop staring at the faces, the beauty of everything locals do from traditional wrestling to cattlery. I adore the authenticity most people pursue. Being there makes me feel whole and heals me up. So this shoot was a blessing 🙏🏼 And look at Sharda.
