Disposable camera images captured in 2023 during roadtrips, hikes & beachwalks around the UAE & Oman. I used to think feeling a lot was a curse. Like this heavy weight that was put upon me without my permission. However, it is my ability to feel deeply that makes me appreciate life so much more. The privelege of having the space to be able to feel. The gift of merely having the privelege to exist and share journeys with humans I get to cross points with in life. Be it short or long term. There’s so so much beauty in it. As A kid I used to literally have dreams about these places I had never ever seen. I’m seeing them now. Getting to experience them with beautiful humans that each have made me more of who I am. There are no words for how that feels. A single click on what feels like a toy camera all of a sudden a moment captured forever. Forgotten about until developed. Forgotten about until now received back. Each image & place has its own story. A story I’m not yet ready to tell. A fundamental piece to the foundation of my entire being. I did a lot of growing that year. As every year but that one particularly was special. I’ve said it so many times before but I’ll keep saying it. I am so so grateful beyond words for this journey called life.
