I don’t remember how I managed to get her phone number to start with - but I do remember how engaging she was and how confused she was as to why we wanted to feature her on the cover of @dazed. It took quite a few phone calls and an invitation for tea before she agreed - but the result is iconic. This was her first magazine shoot and She went on to be featured on at least 8 more covers in her life. So while she may not totally have grasped her charm, clearly the rest of us did. Rest in peace @iris.apfel @jeff_bark @robbiespencer @duffy_duffy @lisahoughton
