The story’s nexus is the iconic art deco architecture of the Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel- a throwback to cinema’s Golden Age, populated by emblematic actors past and present, and still a fixture within the city today. Set within a suite at the iconic Art Deco Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel, Lucky Blue Smith ( @luckybsmith) takes the lead in AMIRI’s Autumn-Winter 2025 narrative. Captured in a cinematic short film charting an unfolding night in the City of Angels, the scene is underscored by a reflective narration from Nara Smith ( @naraaziza). Against this backdrop, Smith dresses in this season’s mid-century double-breasted tailoring and hardware details – the collection becoming the lens through which the nocturnal cityscape is revealed. Inspired by the cinematic visions that have shaped our perceptions of Hollywood across a century, the campaign plays out through a series of short narrative films, individual scenarios that explore our ideas and ideals of Los Angeles. Directed by Todd Tourso ( @toddtourso), intricately scripted and choreographed and shot on 35mm film by Drew Daniels ( @drewalandaniels) from Anora, they fuse nostalgic nods to the glamour of the past with the dynamic energy of now, in lushly-colored visuals with a dream-like quality.
