FINAL PART / RESILIENCE FOR @bricks_magazine When Loic and I first started conversations with @toriwest for @bricks_magazine and she told us the theme was resilience, it immediately resonated with me. I felt the need to portray a parallel with my own journey, my life, my inner self: to show both the wounds and the beautiful process of reconstruction that resilience brings For the looks here, @cocolabbee is wearing a magnificent dress from @muglerofficial 💛 symbolizing reconstruction after wounds, resilience here takes shape into learning to breathe again. The body is still but the spirit is slowly coming back to life. The @algieriparis 🩶 looks for the 2nd picture illustrates the duality you have to experience to survive : staying sharp up top, and wild underneath. PART II / RESILIENCE FOR @bricks_magazine When Loic and I first started conversations with @toriwest for @bricks_magazine and she told us the theme was resilience, it immediately resonated with me. I felt the need to portray a parallel with my own journey, my life, my inner self: to show both the wounds and the beautiful process of reconstruction that resilience brings For the looks, @cocolabbee wears here a giant black coat from @qianhanliu 🖤, black fisch scale skirt from @anselin_louis 🖤 along with tape on her boob. This look represents what an icon becomes when she had to defend herself too much, it’s about setting boundaries. The tape says: I’ve been hurt before, now I protect what’s mine, the skirt says : my scars are visible yet beautiful and the coat says : I’m still protected. For the 2nd look her feet are glued to the ground ( @normanmabirelarguier 🖤) to symbolize how stagnant resilience can make us feel. However this green corset ( @muglerofficial 💚) illustrates our shield, our new skin which tells us the truth here : renaissance is still happening and a brighter future is in front of us.
