In addition to encouraging prevention and routine testing, each woman’s journey stands as a testament to the possibility of transforming pain into strength, challenge into courage, and to the importance of standing together, so no woman has to face this struggle alone. This month, we share the story of Jessica and Rita Kahawaty, a mother-daughter duo standing side by side against breast cancer. Together, they have triumphed three times, and now, the fourth battle has begun. Jessica recently shared an emotional message announcing that her mother, Rita, has been diagnosed with cancer for the fourth time in nine years.
