Finally met this legend in Tokyo. @furusawayusuke_ has been standing alone every single day for over a year and a half in various parts of Tokyo, demanding an end to the genocide taking place in Gaza. His commitment to the thousands of innocent victims in Palestine, including the many thousands of children who have been killed by Israeli airstrikes, and countless others whose lives have been completely destroyed, is truly admirable. A humanitarian in the purest sense, with a heart of gold. Yusuke gifted me a handmade tote bag with the opening line from Palestinian poet and academic Refaat Alareer’s poem “If I Must Die,” handwritten on the label inside. Refaat Alareer was killed in an Israeli airstrike in December 2023, alongside several members of his family. His voice, like so many others, was silenced, but his words live on, carried by those who refuse to look away. ユースケさん、たくさんの愛と尊敬を送ります。 ありがとう。 Free Palestine ❤️🖤🤍💚
