Congratulations @dima.ayad on your colorful and optimistic summer collection. It felt so tasty, like a cocktail by the pool. The recipe was simple, but effective: start with a dose of Dubai, add a splash of Capri, and end with a twist of Rio. And don’t forget the presentation, or in this case the beautiful craftsmanship of the sequin dresses, all done by hand. Slow fashion for a fun, fast summer. #voguearabia #dimaayad 🍸☀️🌈

One of the most glorious stories from our September Issue. Thank you Sheik Rashid and Natalie for always being part of Vogue. #voguearabia After completing his final round of chemotherapy for leukaemia in early 2023, Sheikh Rashid Bin Ahmed Al Maktoum has returned to competitive showjumping – stronger than ever. Together with his wife, fellow equestrian Natalie Lankester, the couple is preparing for international competitions representing the UAE. However, it’s the family life that also keeps the parents busier, specially with the arrival of their third daughter. This month, #VogueArabia met the couple and all three of their children for the first time at their estate in Belgium. “We’ve got the Asian Championships at the end of November, and if we both qualify in dressage and showjumping, it’ll be our first major competition together with the kids in town. It’s our dream to share this journey, not just as riders, but as a family,” Lankester says. Talent and social commitment. We all love queen @huda ❤️👑 Repost @voguearabia “Once you learn about Gaza, once you learn about Palestine, you can never unsee it. I’m grateful I was able to see the truth when I did, and I will never be silent.” For #HudaKattan, the founder of one of the world’s most recognisable beauty brands and two-time #VogueArabia cover star, activism is not a strategy, it’s a calling. Speaking exclusively to #VogueArabia this September, the beauty mogul opens up about her journey from fear to fearless advocacy, and why using her voice for change matters more than business. “I’ve faced a lot of backlash, including threats, smear campaigns, and a lot of pressure to stay silent,” she says. “But here’s the thing – I’m not built for silence, especially when people are suffering. I’m willing to risk my entire business if that’s what it takes to stand for what’s right. It’s not about politics for me; it’s about humanity.” Swipe to read more from the interview, and tap the link in bio for the full story.

Today was eventful! ❤️#bali #photodump

I never thought I would be so happy going down a river, on a rubber boat. But it’s not just any river, it’s the Ayung, Bali’s longest and most sacred river. Hovering over these waters, framed by untamed nature, only being watched by monkeys and giant lizards sunbathing on the rocks, was truly special. Living in a big city, and just running around from work to commitments, we often forget to take some time to enjoy the natural blessings of our planet. This trip to Bali really made me realize how important it is to be exposed and connect to our planet - a planet we need to take care of and nurture, the same way he does it for us. Thank you @mandapareserve for making this happen. #bali

A couple of years ago I remember seeing a video on Hanan Alfardan’s Instagram (I love her educational videos, follow her @alramsa.institute), where the managing director at Al Ramsa Institute for Emirati dialect addressed some negative messages she received about her nose. Since then, I've wanted to publish a story on Vogue to celebrate the beauty and strength of the Arab nose. We did it this September. “Growing up, I was surrounded by beauty standards that didn’t reflect my features, but my nose always felt familiar and meaningful. It looks like my father’s nose, and his nose looks like his father’s. It’s a feature that connects me to my family and my tribe. People even recognise where I’m from just by looking at it,” shares Hanan Alfardan. “In 2023, I posted a video saying, ‘I love my nose, I love my big nose’ – and it went viral. It reached millions, and I still meet people who say that the video gave them the confidence to honour their features”. Don’t miss the full story on our latest issue, also mentioning other women I admire, @faridakhelfa @camelicked and @taleedah ❤️ Repost @voguearabia In the latest issue of #VogueArabia, we explore how the sculptural Arab nose – a lasting symbol of identity and heritage – is being embraced on its own terms. Once overshadowed by Western beauty standards, it’s now at the forefront of a shifting narrative shaped by pride and representation. Social media has accelerated this change, challenging archaic ideals alongside Arab creatives who continue to redefine how beauty is portrayed. “There is a definitive shift, and we are seeing more representation of different kinds of beauties from around the world. I see more appreciation for the Arab nose in its different forms, which is a beautiful thing,” says Saudi model and June cover star #TaleedahTamer. “This sends a powerful message that beauty isn’t a single mould, but instead a spectrum.” Words: @hanadimhabib
