Very excited to share this new project of mine “Dead of Winter” This project first came from an idea of staying active during the slow/cold months here in the city but I also wanted to embrace the winter. I met up with @mgm_patrick a year or so ago and he told me that he surfs in the winter… which totally blew my mind & it clicked after that. This project had so many challenges, it was very weather dependent & honestly took way longer than it should’ve, but everyone involved was so flexible & cared about what I was trying to say, so thank you. Lastly a huge shoutout to @thedansilver who helped me find a deeper story within the story I wanted to tell & really beautifully edited this piece. The winter surf community here in nyc is pretty nuts but I loved diving in for a moment, although I nearly froze to the death.
