You can only fit so much cool in one post 😮‍💨 As seen by @sorinflorea, on 8x10 direct positive paper. We set up analog photobooth backstage, where each unique picture was taken with a large-format camera and developed on site. This process is as honest and vulnerable as the moment itself. The format is slow and deliberate, a clear distance from the fast pace of the digital world. He asked them just one thing: “Stay still”. In an industry that thrives on motion, these portraits become an act of resistance: images with patience and purpose. The exhibition’s title, “Still the Moment”, is an allegory: “still” means motionless, but it can also mean “to steal a moment” (steal), “to strengthen oneself” (steel) or “to be still here” (still). ✨ Thanks for coming into our ‘lil studio:

@sorinflorea pulled off the impossible at @summerwellfest - he brought an entire analog studio + darkroom backstage and photographed the artists right there on the spot. The result? A one-of-a-kind series of raw, intimate portraits shot on 8x10 direct positive paper and developed right there in our mobile darkroom. Thank you, @focusnordic @harmanphoto (get more paper ready, we're doing it again!) for backing the project, and to @theapscr for capturing it all in this beautiful video 💛
