Work in progress of one on the first look of the collection, the Vera dress, entirely knitted and assembled by hand. Inspired by the work of Italian visual artist Sasha Vinci and La Piel Que Habito by Pedro Almodóvar, the silhouette is annihilated, deconstructed and tortured, stretched and damaged before being reconstructed in patches of skin/fabric in the desired image. •Spectrum Vera Dress / AW23/24

work in progress / @anetha_music 🤍 thanks to @cleliacz for her incredible styling - This [outfit] explores the tension between flesh and stone, between molting and relic. Inspired by the figure of the statue—still, altered, silent—it becomes an entity in transformation, caught in a process of erosion as much as solidification. The latex, translucent and rigid, evokes a second skin frozen in the moment of its own disappearance, while the burns trace the signs of an internal combustion, a struggle against form itself. It is a post-identity garment, evoking the body as a transitory envelope—an empty receptacle where the being wavers. Nihilism, here, is not despair but laying bare: the refusal of a pre-established meaning, the beauty of decomposition, of the formless, of the non-human. For Anetha, whose sets transform the body into a wave, the outfit becomes resonance: it doesn’t protect—it reveals, it burns, it exposes the discomfort of existing in a looping world.

The finishes are heat-altered, heat-burned to create carbonized, organic edges, and metal piercings set into the latex surface, like visible sutures, lasting marks on artificial skin.
