Finally out! Release day for @bochumwelt JS Ep that marks @simonebellotti first move into the iconic fashion house of Jil Sander. Co-produced by @jilsander and @threesproductions the record is an instant classic of unreleased electronic compositions by the historical Rephlex affiliate. Aaalso yesterday we launched the record in Hamburg - with a music video shot by @seanvegezzi for the main track of the Ep ‘Wanderlust’ ✨ Thank you Simone for the trust, Ginaluigi for the music and all the team involved - especially @martaoliva @matthieudr @g_coco 🤍 The record will soon be available at Jil Sander stores globally and in selected record shop - also you can listen right away on all platforms digitally.

L’Atelier Sonore is a space for listening 👂 Born from the collaboration between Terraforma and Maison Valentino, the space was carefully designed by Francesco Lupia @francescolupia with an outstanding soundsystem by Giorgio Di Salvo @giorgiodisalvo . For the opening we’ve invited artists to bring their records, the ones that inspired them or mean something to them, to be shared with others. Thanks to an incredible team 🤍 Starting from Alessandro Michele @alessandro_michele and Michela Tafuri @michelatafuri21 , and exapanding to all the Valentino team who contributed. By transforming raw satellite data into compelling visual narratives, Atlas of Change bridges the gap between abstract information and lived experience, emphasising the urgency of the global climate crisis while underscoring our collective responsibility to act. Terraforma continues its mission as a platform for awareness and transformation, inviting fresh perspectives and inspiring reimagined possibilities for a sustainable future.
After stops in Paris, Porto, and Oslo, @lorenzo_senni presents his award-winning project at Fondazione ICA in Milan: an innovative exploration featuring a series of photographic prints and a musical composition that examines the concept of “false reflectance.” Windows to look in has embarked on a nomadic journey that mirrors Senni’s artistic practice, culminating on September 18 in Milan. During the event, curated by @threesproductions, an exclusive documentary by #CourtneyHarrenberg was screened, offering a deep dive into Senni’s biography and poetic vision, emphasizing sensory experiences and conceptual perception. Now in its fifth edition, Against Sun and Dust presents an exhibition of the artist Cyprien Gaillard, comprising new and recent works on view at Villa Imperiale di Pesaro until October 26. The endurance of the Villa is observed, as a monolithic body exposed for centuries to direct sunlight. Framing the area of San Bartolo Natural Park, the gaze expands to the recent history of the building, tourism and consumer boom that contributed to the local phenomenon known as Riviera club culture. The project is a new occasion for Gaillard to test the sense of occupation and transformation of natural space, the preservation of the architectural and geological stratification, and the lacerations left from the rise and fall of historical or contemporary utopias. Exo is finally here and I am excited for this new Terraforma chapter. A lot of classics as a first edition should be, opening the Saturday with David Toop and closing with Dj Nobu at Gatto Verde, plus a lot of new and rare performances in between! What exites me the most are the commisioned soundscapes such as Landscapes by TQS and the Modular Organ System. Unfortunately Cate’s sound installation “Ultimo Cielo” for Torre Branca has been postponed, but still you can immerse in the Acusmonium and find some of the most crucial experimental music. Finally, as a cultural manifestation should be, together with Hundebiss Records we have programmed a FREE event on the legendary Teatro Continuo di Burri. With Terraforma Exo, we are trying tried to envision something that doesn’t yet exist in Milan: an immersive space where the different areas of Parco Sempione and beyond can create a continuous and polyphonic environment. Our dream is to bring to life a park where people can meet, stay, listen, learn, and dance together. I hope to see you there 🖖

WE TRAVEL TO KNOW OUR OWN GEOGRAPHY A project I’ve been curating with one of my dearest friends Sergio 🤍 This April, Kuboraum and Terraforma are back in Venice to co-curate a two-days immersive festival experience bridging between art and music. ‘WE TRAVEL TO KNOW OUR OWN GEOGRAPHY’ will take place in partnership with COMBO during the pre-opening weekend of the 60th Venice Art Biennale, as a continuum of the 2022 festival and following the launch of Kuboraum Editions, the multidisciplinary platform conceived to give space to projects at the intersection of fine arts and music. Stemming from Kuboraum’s Manifesto ‘WE TRAVEL TO KNOW OUR OWN GEOGRAPHY’, the festival celebrates the ongoing, transcendent journey beyond the borders of the body originating from the need for sharing and the desire to build a community. Following Terraforma’s ethos, with music as a catalyst, the festival shall serve as a map to propose new semantic trajectories - and what better location than Venice, historical meeting place for pilgrims and merchants, to stimulate such journey in each of us?
