To borrow a term from the great Andrew Bolton, the “Superfine: Tailoring Black Style” exhibition and the Met Gala that supports it are both uninterruptibly sublime. It is indeed a superhuman feat on multiple humans’ parts to pull it all off, not least of all the brilliant Monica L. Miller whose book the show is based on.
