Melanie Chisholm, aka Mel C, aka Sporty Spice ( @melaniecmusic), has made eight solo albums since the Spice Girls’ Wannabe stormed the charts in 1996 and is about to release a ninth. She’s also been spending time Down Under as a coach on The Voice, returning to Seven on August 10.⁠ ⁠ She speaks about her solo project, turning 50 whether there is a Spice Girls reunion on the horizon.⁠ ⁠ “When I turned 50 last year, I didn’t feel concerned about it too much,” says Chisholm. “And now, a year on, I’ve embraced all the positive things about getting older. The physical negatives of being this age are that you wake up with more aches in the morning, but having wisdom and feeling blessed to be alive is such a gift.
