The Spa at Hôtel Saint James @saintjamesparis @guerlain A gentle pause in time, wrapped in warmth and natural light. I imagined this space as a poetic retreat to step out of time through tranquility, nature, and presence. In collaboration with artist @francoismascarello , we brought to life a 15m sculpted bas-relief fresco, inspired by gréco-romain forms. Creation is a meticulous journey. I observe the world around me, listen to what the materials whisper, and follow the dreams that visit me. Every detail carries intention. A memory. An emotion. In the studio, each piece receives a number, a quiet mark in our shared history. It becomes part of your world: a certificate of authenticity, a trace of the hands that shaped it. Byblos Saint-Tropez I was so happy to bring my touch to this iconic hotel on the beautiful French Riviera last year— a place renowned for its Mediterranean style, gardens, and chic atmosphere. We redesigned two suites to tell a new story of Riviera glamour, inspired by the magical light and joyful colors of Saint-Tropez, and the timeless soul of Byblos. I collaborated with Clémence Danchin @__studio_poudre__ to create hand-made doors using oak, lati, and figured sycamore — three beautiful woods that bring texture and warmth to the spaces. All the furniture was custom-designed just for Byblos, featuring hand-picked textiles, rich finishes, and artisanal details that make every space unique. Ceramic minibars in playful puzzle shapes, in both yellow and blue, add an artistic yet playful touch to the suites. A project filled with color, craftsmanship, and sunshine — just like Saint-Tropez itself. #lauragonzalez #byblos @stephanjulliard
