The Voice of Hind Rajab, a film that echoes far beyond the screen. In August 2024, The Rambourg Foundation granted its full support to the bold and powerful project, presented to us by Tunisian Director @kaoutherbenhania and Producer @nadim.cheikhrouha . A year later, we are incredibly proud of the movie, which is not only a cinematic achievement, but also a deeply human response to the ongoing catastrophe in Gaza. Since October 2023, Gaza has been enduring one of the deadliest and most destructive military assaults in modern history. Tens of thousands of civilians including thousands of children have been killed. Entire neighborhoods, hospitals, and schools have been erased. Families shattered. Voices silenced. Among them was Hind Rajab, a 6-year-old girl who captured the World’s attention, with her desperate call for help, which was ultimately ignored. Her voice became a symbol of loss, of resilience, and of the failure of humanity to protect its most vulnerable. With an all Palestinian cast, each actor carries not only the weight of their role, but the lived experience of this trauma. Every performance is informed by a reality they continue to face daily. This film was made through rigorous and respectful research, and with the blessing and courage of Hind Rajab’s mother @wesam_rajabb without whom this tribute would not exist. She continues to inspire us all. It also matters deeply that this story is told by an Arab woman filmmaker. Kaouther Ben Hania brings authenticity, dignity, and an unflinching gaze to a story that Western media too often distorts or erases. The Voice of Hind Rajab is more than a film, it’s a memorial, a document, a call to remember. It reminds us that behind every headline is a child, a mother, a family, a (stolen) future. We believe in the power of art to bear witness, to preserve memory, and to demand Justice. We are honored to be part of this vital project. World Premiere : The Voice of Hind Rajab will debut in the main competition at the 82nd Venice International Film Festival on September 3, 2025. The film will also feature at the film festivals of Toronto, London, San Sebastian and Busan.

“The Voice of Hind Rajab”. You know her story – but sadly, too many still do not. And that’s what this film aims to change. The film was made in collaboration with Hind’s mother Wesam, the Palestine Red Crescent Society, and a cast of dedicated Palestinian actors. Set entirely in the Red Crescent control room where Hind’s final call was heard, her voice anchors the story in reality. Out of respect, Hind is not portrayed on screen, yet her presence resonates in every frame. May Hind's story change us forever... and echo throughout history.

‏One year ago, the Tunisian director Kaouther Ben Hania reached out to me. She wanted to tell the tragic story of my daughter Hind in a film. Despite the pain and the weight of grief, I felt that Hind’s voice needed to be heard loud and clear. ‏One year later, we are moved that this film will be shown at the Venice Film Festival. As a mother, nothing will ever heal the wound of losing my daughter. But knowing that her voice will now echo across the world gives me strength. ‏Thank you Kaouther and all the team for making this movie.

Quelle aventure ! #wewillbeback
