zooming out. getting to this point was a very long road for me, and things definitely didn’t happen overnight. I began working at my mother’s beauty supply and salon at the age of 12 in California, and then my first beauty counter at 17. that is where I really cut my teeth and learned to work with different complexions and skin types.
