Welcome to my latest obsession: Talli 💌 A tutorial for those have asked how it’s done ❤️ The community aspect around this craft is really beautiful. Traditionally the women in the UAE would gather from the neighborhood and do the craft together. It was a big part of the family income, before the discovery of oil. I learnt from two women from Khor Fakkan, Khalo Shaikha and Khalo Halima, in Alia Bin Omairs studio in Dubai. Would you be keen to join a Talli circle? #talli #weaving #uae

Here, henna meets leather as symbols of memory and care. Craft becomes inheritance: lived, layered, and passed gently from hand to hand.

Nail Art but with Nail Henna 💅 How to: Cut up the nail stencils and apply on the nails, making sure they are stuck very well. Apply nail henna, leave for 2-3 hours. Remove the henna and apply a second coat for 2-3 hours. The initial stain will be a light orange and will darken by the next day. Enjoy! #nails #henna #halal
