Camille Menard, Vestiaires Femmes, 2024 _ While the Paris 2024 Olympics honored Pierre de Coubertin, his words still cast a shadow: 'I do not personally approve of the participation of women in public competitions.' French artist Camille Menard ( @agnst.design) responds with 'Domestic Games: Les femmes à l’épreuve'. In Vestiaires Femmes, lockers named after athletes targeted by hyperandrogenism testing bear weighted doors, symbols of violated intimacy and the heavy burden of sexist regulations in sport.
