We’re thrilled to have @arieloscargreith join our BALLSAAL family 🖤⁠   Ariel Oscar Greith is a photographer, creative director, and visual artist based in Hamburg & Berlin. Greith is known for his distinctive visual language, combining candid reportage with a high-end aesthetic. He creates visual concepts and campaigns for clients such as Schwarzkopf, STMNT, La Biosthétique, MAC Cosmetics, Armani Beauty, and Sephora, as well as for magazines like Vogue, TUSH, Cicero, and Mannschaft Magazine. He also collaborates with organizations such as UNICEF.   Beyond his commercial work, Greith explores the intersection of art, artificial intelligence, and aesthetic theory – examining how algorithmic creativity reshapes traditional notions of authorship and authenticity.   Since 2020, he has been working as a photographer and artistic director alongside entrepreneur @arminmorbach , developing creative strategies and visual identities for premium and luxury brands across media, production, and publishing.   Wanna work with @arieloscargreith ? Friends! @primavera_sound was wild. We were on site for our magazine @tushmagazine and our partner @schwarzkopf – proud sponsor of this year’s festival – conducting interviews, hunting for trends, and dancing into the night to the Powerpuff Girls of pop, all while basking in a gentle 28 degrees in the shade. And since we’re all extra fabulous on social media – myself included, especially when my eye bags crash FaceApp and a few digital tweaks leave me somewhere between reality and a Renaissance statue – I thought: For this festival recap, I’ll show you the pearls of my personal self-documentation. Last week, @hairbyschwarzkopf.usa @schwarzkopf launched its new campaign featuring global ambassadors @sofiavergara and @chrisappleton1 . I’m incredibly proud to have been part of this production. Here are a few impressions – more to come. 🤍 💭A few personal reflections on the work: I’ve always been the #behindthescenesguy At least, that’s the excuse I’ve come to use as an introverted person navigating a highly extroverted environment—often battling inner doubts and struggling to look beyond the shoulders of those louder and more assertive around me. And yet, I’ve built my career on exactly that. Reportage, documentary, BTS, portraiture – the niche has many names. For me, it has always been about capturing a scene at just the right moment, even when many factors speak against my presence – whether it’s the pressure of an intense workload or navigating a tense atmosphere (or tense people). My job is to remain invisible, while ensuring that those who do notice me never feel observed or reduced to a quick snapshot. This approach has gifted me countless meaningful moments – moments I’m truly grateful for. Like this shoot. Thank you, @schwarzkopf @_teresacordova_ @leighannhealey and many beautiful souls more, for your trust – and best of luck with your new campaign.
