“They never call men selfish for being writers,” @MichaelaCoel says in response to interviewer @ReniEddoLodge’s theory that being a creative woman is an inherently selfish act, in the September 2025 issue of #BritishVogue. “The world needs to correct themselves.” The actor has elected to freeze her eggs, but says: “If I don’t have a family, it’s not the end of the world. Compared to the intensity of #MotherMary, @MichaelaCoel’s role in crime caper #TheChristophers was a lighter endeavour. “[It] was the best process for me as an actor,” she says in the September 2025 issue of #BritishVogue.
