Transformation is part of life in New York City. Alongside @rockwellgroup, at @wnyunionsquare we’ve evolved to channel the city spirit from original Beaux-Arts finishes to local touches like subway-inspired lights. Rockwell designed the new Living Room with clusters of custom contemporary gem-toned velvet seating that is in deliberate tension with the room’s historic architecture. It feels like the glamorous salons of yore, places that feel as if something memorable is sure to happen.

The architects behind the icon. From the moment our first W Hotel opened its doors in 1998, @rockwellgroup has been a visionary force behind our distinctive design. Today, they return 27 years later to reimagine the future, leading the transformations of @whollywood and @wnyunionsquare. Come see it for yourself.
