A platform for Creative Minds
INTRODUCING OUR SEPTEMBER ISSUE... 'RAVE & REVEL'. Out Monday 8 September, and fronted by @emmifreeman in @tiffanyandco, this issue is an assertion that our most frivolous whims and uncontrolled desires are allowed to be satisfied – spoiled, even. Inside, we sit down with photographer ewenspencer to look back on his infamous 2006 'Skins' shoot, and ask some of our favourite creative minds to share their wildest nights out. Music Editor @alyshale goes through photo archives with @blurofficial’s drummer @davidrowntree, and writer @isabelletruman reminisces on the relic of the house party. This issue also marks a defining moment in the visual identity of 'RUSSH'. For 20 years, evolution has been in our DNA, and in print, we’ve reshaped the visual language we use to tell stories. Refined, and distinctly modern, it’s a reintroduction to 'RUSSH' in a new decade. For your first look at the pages inside, head to the 🔗 in bio and pre-order. Editor in chief @thisisjessblanch, photography @coni.tarallo, styling @hanniecooper, model @emmifreeman @next, hair @levimonarch @frankreps, makeup @reitajima @bridgeartists, nails @americanbrown, photographer's assistants Asa Lory and Michael Alexandre, stylist's assistant @americanbrown, casting @ima_casting, creative studio and campaign manager @oliviarepaci.
Introducing our fourth annual 'RUSSH Home' issue – covered by Southern Highlands-based painter @clara.adolphs. This issue honours the intrepid; those travelling distant landscapes or nostalgic, well-traipsed paths. For us, travel, in its truest form, broadens not only our experiences but the boundaries of our imagination. It’s a window to fresh perspectives, meaningful connections, and enriching our creative pursuits. An ode to our lived-in spaces, and a celebration of the aesthetic, philosophical and culinary stories we create and share within them, our fourth issue, edited by @tamsinjohnson, steps inside the homes of some of our favourite creative minds – from the landmark #EamesHouse to gallerist @suzannedemisch’s Fitzrovia apartment (that has taken on a life of its own online). Pre-orders are now available at the 🔗. Cover artwork: Clara Adolphs, 'School Boy I', 52 x 52.5cm, oil on linen, 2024. Editor-in-chief @thisisjessblanch, editor @tamsinjohnson, brand art director @talisa_sutton, features editor @carolineclements_, designer @gabby_hidalgo, content director @elyssakostopoulos, production editor @cassiedimitroff

A rare Blood Moon Lunar Eclipse is coming, and it’s set to be intense. In the late night of 7 September – or the early morning of Monday 8 September – our Full Moon arrives and turns blood red. The spectacle will happen around 4am AEST so you’ll have to be an early riser to see it. It’s a moment that will feel restless, raw and deeply emotional. At the 🔗 in bio, we share what this rare Blood Moon in Pisces will mean for you.

HBO’s acclaimed anthology series 'The White Lotus' is OFFICIALLY heading to France for its highly anticipated fourth season. While no hotel has been confirmed yet, HBO’s ongoing partnership with the Four Seasons chain allows us to narrow it down to three possibilities: the Grand-Hôtel du Cap-Ferrat on the French Riviera, the Four Seasons Megève in the French Alps, or the Hotel George V in Paris. For everything we know at the 🔗in bio.
The world feels quieter today. Giorgio Armani, the man who taught us that power could whisper, not shout, has passed away at 91. With him goes not just a designer, but an architect of elegance, a man who reshaped the way we dress and, more importantly, the way we see ourselves. At the link in bio, we honour the king of Italian fashion, and share everything we know so far.
Glass skin, glass hair, can't lose. Trying the viral @kerastase_official glaze drops and @chanel.beauty Baume in transparent
Last week, we took over China Heights Gallery in Sydney with a one-of-a-kind dinner, hosted in collaboration with @lunecroissant x @fourpillarsgin. Set against the backdrop of RUSSH contributing editor and artist Kitty Callaghan’s exhibition, tastemakers including Valentine Fodor, Alix Higgins, and Samuel Rozsnyoi indulged in a dinner unlike any other. It was a night where pastry met spirit, science met art, and expectations were deliciously dismantled.
