The Surrendering Veils I release fabric into the open air, delicate skins of color, trembling at the edge of silence. I place them gently, but the moment the wind arrives, they are no longer mine. They breathe, they shiver, they fold into themselves. They rise and fall like tides, like lungs filling with invisible light. I watch as they surrender and in surrender, they come alive. I do not control them. I listen. I wait. The sky composes, the air writes, the sun stains their surfaces with fire. The veils are not a stage, but a body, fragile and infinite, a fleeting gesture that belongs more to the world than to me. In them, I learn the language of letting go to trust the unseen, to surrender to what moves beyond my hands, to feel the quiet breath of nature shaping the work, and to know that, for a moment, we are alive together... Creating in the french country side

As I place each artwork in the city's flow, I become a silent spectator of my own creation. The camera captures not just the art, but the quiet indifference of the world around it—people passing by, unaware, like a gentle reminder of how small we all are. In this moment, I am both creator and observer, a tiny speck in a sea of countless lives. The art, left to the elements, becomes a reflection of our own fleeting existence, a gentle nod to the materialism that often veils our deeper truths. Yet, in that insignificance, there is a strange comfort—reminding us that our creations, no matter how ephemeral, are part of a greater, ever-moving fabric of life. This project, in its essence, is a dialogue with the fabric of life: accepting the beauty of insignificance while celebrating the quiet impact of each moment, each encounter, each act of letting go. In my work, I seek to dissolve the boundaries between mediums — and between control and freedom. Each piece begins with paintings, fabrics, and color filters, animated by wind and light. I photograph these fleeting moments using analog multiple exposures, layering textures, movements, and transparencies directly onto film. Once scanned, a new phase begins: I explore multiple colorimetric interpretations — creating six or seven versions of each image, each with a distinct emotional resonance. This process is not about correction, but about sculpting feeling through color. After days of reflection and comparison, I choose the version that carries the most tension, depth, and subtlety — the one that feels right. There is no digital reconstruction of forms. Only a dialogue between the chaos of matter and the emotional vibration of light and color. This practice is a search for lâcher-prise — letting go. Letting go of precision. Trusting the instability of gestures, the uncertainty of color, the poetry of impermanence. The final image is neither fully painting nor fully photography. It inhabits a fragile in-between — where ambiguity becomes emotion. These works are not meant to be explained. They are meant to be felt.
