This is the ultimate working from One Life/The Growhouse guide for anyone who’s ever been told they can’t use their laptop. Sunday to Friday @thegrowhousedxb in alserkal if you want to make sure you will get a table and won’t be bothered (fight a freelancer for a plug point) One life d3 - go to the mezzanine if you want to make sure you get a table and a plug point - no laptops downstairs or on the terrace during lunch One life JVC - very limited space and plug points unless its winter and the seating capacity is more than doubled Saturday & Sunday @thegrowhousedxb - no laptops ❌❌ One life JVC - no laptops ❌❌ (Exception, if it’s not busy later in the afternoon) One life d3 - pretty chilled so a good place to work. If you ask nicely they may let you work from the mezzanine even though it’s closed on weekends. Remember It is not a co-working space It’s not personal, we just want to make sure we can serve as many guests as possible at any given time Strictly no outside food or drinks, if you’re chewing gum, pause mid-chew if a staff member clocks you Staff are just trying to follow the rules, they don’t make them.
