Cult Italian designer @GiorgioArmani has died in Milan, aged 91, surrounded by his loved ones. ‘With infinite sorrow, the Armani Group announces the passing of its creator, founder, and tireless driving force: Giorgio Armani’, the House said in a statement. Known as ‘Re Giorgio’, or ‘King Giorgio’ for having shaped Italian style and elegance, he did not appear at his shows in June at Milan Fashion Week, the first time in his career that he had missed one.
