A heart-wrenching turn in upcoming movie The Smashing Machine, an Oscar-nominated performance in Oppenheimer, and, of course, reprising her iconic role in The Devil Wears Prada 2 – it’s safe to say that Emily Blunt has hit the heights of Hollywood. But, as Tyler McCall discovers over margaritas and stroopwafel sandwiches in New York, she is still completely grounded. Despite being well-versed in the fame game by now, Emily Blunt is still conflicted about her attitude to being in the public eye. “We’ve all been increasingly trained to hold cards closer to our chest... It’s a tricky balance between really wanting people to know you, but being fearful of it, too,” she tells Tyler McCall.
