Oil paint on canvas, 2021-2025. This painting is part of the early beginnings of the Vestigio series, which were exhibited last year in Prague. At the time, It was not finished, it remained in progress, suspended till it got solved.

It turned out a bit weirder than the rest, but I think it still fits the series . The idea was to keep it in line with the “Three Graces” and “Le déjeuner” pieces…It went through a lot of changes, and as always it’s nothing like what I first imagined 🙃 This one will be part of the show at Galeria Senda on Sept 18 in Barcelona Parallel chords. A look into the process behind the lithographs I shared a few days ago ✨ Huge thanks to everyone who got one — since they’re kind of experiments, I wasn’t sure how they’d be received... but they sold out faster than I expected! Really happy to share that all the pieces will be part of an exhibition at the Museu de Granollers this November. Video by @elenadesala 🎥

Although I do believe there’s still a long way to go, I wanted to share these small-edition prints with you. Originally, I hadn’t planned on incorporating collage into these prints, but in order to resolve some areas that I felt weren’t working, I decided to go in that direction. It ended up being far more labor-intensive than creating a conventional print, since every piece has been cut and glued by hand. That means that, between the slight variations in color and the hand-cut elements, no two pieces are exactly the same. This painting is called “La entrada al infierno” — painted back in 2021. It was originally meant for an art fair where, honestly, it would’ve made sense. It didn’t make it there in the end… but! I’m happy to say it’s finally being exhibited this September in Barcelona, alongside other works. 📍 More details coming soon

The idea was to make a theatrical collage inside the windows from the incredible Maison Hermès in Tokyo (designed by Renzo Piano✨). The two pieces have some references to paintings from Von Menzel and Velázquez. Thanks to the all the amazing people that was involved in this ❤️
