Yesterday, @gadensstemmer established the ‘Walk of Fame’ to honor the people living vulnerable lives. The biggest shoutout to Mas, Julie and Philip. Today we honoured some of the people who have all too often stood in the shadows of society. Those who bravely use their own life experiences to inspire others and help break down prejudices about living with homelessness, addiction, mental vulnerability, or sex work. Now, they are given a place that cannot be overlooked. Namely, beautiful honorary portraits – created by the artist Laust Højgaard – embedded as tiles in Istedgade.
