A hot spring of rust bloomed water will cradle you; rainforest pressed tight against the edges, loud water, crashing and gnashing geotropic water. Steam scaffolds the ribs while bones ring like struck glass. There’s a slight slime of thermophilic bacteria finding my pores, lining my elbow creases. Moss; rust stained moss, growing where stone has cracked. A place devouring and restoring like respiration.

A little story on my first time appearing in a book. It’s probably time I take all of my own book ideas and make something happen. Is it a saturated subject? What’s my literary niche? One year since Nicholas and Cameron’s wedding at Claridge’s, I found myself drawn to reference the infinitely referenceable work of the Dutch still life masters. Strange exotics befriended locally grown English classics upon custom made iron frames. A pleasure of a project steeped in so much love it was sickly. Xx

I don’t know if the present exists or if we’re always running away from the past as it eats the future.

Mum said don’t play with your food and now I made a career out of it.
