Amalie Roege Hove presents “001” ‘Some Body Was Here’ is born from a shared appreciation for craft and a deep interest in textile manipulation. Large-scale fabric installations unfold a story of their own, resulting in an exhibition that reflects on textile and fibre beyond the presence of the human body. The works explore textile in stillness, reimagined from traditional knitwear techniques. In the absence of the body, what remains is the memory of its shape and movement, echoed through mirrored surfaces and layers of transparency. This collaboration is a study in material exploration, pushing textiles into new, abstract territories. Developed in collaboration with @sofiehermansen_ and @slagt3ri, the installations will be exhibited on 7 August at Nikolaj Kunsthal during @cphfw. This exhibition is supported by TENCEL™ and featuring fibres that are derived from the natural raw material wood. Photos by @mounirjonas
