The house itself becomes part of the narrative, serving as what the curator describes as a “carrier of time,” layered with history and meaning. The designed environment intersects with monumental traces, the contemporary urban fabric, and the non-anthropogenic environment, sparking a re-claiming of space. Palindromes 🔥🔥 @georgoulamaria w/ @vagelis_liop & @stavros_pd In Palindromes, Georgoula extends her sculptural practice into the realm of movement, treating gestures—rather than objects—as readymades. Drawing from sources such as sports, animals, and gym culture, and layering these with pop music, she creates a collage-like performance. A duet emerges from her new diptych sculpture series, with movements reconstructed through repetition, absurdity, and playful improvisation. The performance evokes the familiar act of dancing alone at home, moving to a personal or shuffled playlist.
